Wow.. What an uproar about eBay’s recent fee decrease (actually an increase) if you do the eBay Math on a $25 purse. Yea they are giving you a free gallery photo – but are raising the FVF so you actually pay more!

Next is the feedback policy change that really sucks! eBay is kissing buyers butts and inviting scamming buyers to slaughter their sellers by not allowing sellers to give buyers Negative or Neutral Feedback!

There is supposed to be more aggressive enforcement of the feedback extortion policy – and if a buyer is suspended for whatever the reason eBay will remove any negative feedback that buyer left.

BUT i see this new change as a real problem – consider this situation.. Buy Now Bandits will be increasing, It used to be that a scam bandit that bid on everything in sight would be automatically be suspended once the account hit a -5.

With sellers being unable to neg these bandits, they will wreak even more havoc on the community! Sellers must wait 7 days to start the UID process. Emailing eBay support about a problem bidder can take 24-48 hours for them to act on it, if they act on it at all.

So in this one scenario the sellers will loose their listing and any upgrade fees paid – eBay will laugh all the way to the bank – and the investors will love it! This is really screwed up – but it’s eBay we are talking about!

There is talk about Google starting an auction site – which i see as a good idea, especially since they already have their payment system Google Checkout!

And there is a rumor floating around the Yahoo eBay Finance Discussion Board about eBay under investigation by the feds for R.I.C.O statute violations.

One thing for sure – It’s going to be a rough year for the evil empire!

Here is another hijacked power sellers account, someone slid right in and listed a bunch of high dollar electronics, and it looks like they also changed his eBay ID.

Most of us know these scams when we see them – but a newbie will surly get snared into this cleverly baited trap.

eFences selling stolen property – Including this bozo “A New York State Employee who had access to government-owned archives has been arrested on suspicion of stealing hundreds of historic documents, many of which he sold on eBay.”

Meanwhile eBay is suspending/limiting good sellers who got retaliatory negative feedback from Deadbeats Who Do Not Pay!

eBay needs to invest in site security, but according to This Auction Bytes Article, John Donahoe, Meg Whitman’s friend and hand picked successor is focusing on changing search criteria – but no mention of site security!

What a crock of eBay BS!

After cashing in a ton of stock options – and leaving eBay in the worst shape it has ever been in Ma Meg Whitman is retiring. It has been blogged that Whitman is hoping Mitt Romney will get elected president so she can get into Washington. As screwed up as eBay and our economy is – the last thing we need is Margaret Whitman in Washington!

Meanwhile eBay continues to erode into uncertainty. It is my opinion that the rest of her management team needs to be shown the door as well – with always jolly Bill Cobb being the 1st one tossed out after her. Clean out the trash and bring new management in that is willing to listen to the eBay community – and make the changes needed to turn this site around!

And just remember.. We the Buyers & Sellers are the ones who built eBay – NOT Meg Whitman! All she did was a lousy job of building a half azzed platform filled with bug infested/uncompleted enhancements! Vehicle sellers to this day can not send an invoice to buyers because shipping was never disabled for vehicles. Roll out an enhancement – let the members beta test it – then ignore the complaint’s of what does not work – then move on to another – that’s the eBay way!

Well wouldn’t you know eBay with their idiotic seller performance policy suspended him because of those retaliatory negative comments!

eBay is so mismanaged it isn’t even funny! It is clear that they are running a robot (bot) through the system and automates this suspending/limiting process.

It is also obviously very clear that eBay Programmers are incompetent by the fact they didn’t program this bot to check the members who left the seller these negs – and that the seller had filed unpaid item strikes with eBay and been given his final value credit. Had they properly investigated this sellers record his selling privileges would have never been suspended!
